The Steel are set to host the Janesville Jets on Friday, February 21st at 7:10 for Superhero Night presented by Marshfield Clinic Health System. Besides fans being encouraged to dress in their favorite Superhero costumes they will have the opportunity to bid on Superhero Jerseys worn by Steel players. Starting today, you can submit an online bid on the game-worn jerseys (Minimum bid starting at $150; $250 secures the jersey outright) prior to the silent auction which will be held in game on Friday, February 21st. The auction will end with 15 minutes remaining in the third period. Fans will be able to claim their jerseys following the game. The winners do not need to be in attendance, but it is recommended.
Proceeds from the auction will benefit CLIMB®. CLIMB® (Children’s Lives Include Moments of Bravery), is a free six week course that provides emotional support to kids who have a parent or other loved one diagnosed with cancer.
To place your bid, please e-mail jake@chippewasteelhockey.com with the following information:
- The player name or jersey number you wish to bid on
- The dollar amount of your bid (Minimum bid is $150; $250 secures the jersey outright)
- Your name and phone number
- If you would like the player to sign his jersey(if not indicated, the jersey will not be signed)
All info must be present to secure a bid. You may bid as many times as you would like on as many jerseys as you wish. PLEASE NOTE: If you are bidding online, you may only submit ONE bid. Online bidding will end at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 21st.
Upon completion of the game, each player will sign his jersey (if indicated during the bidding process) At that time, payment will be needed to obtain said item. If the winner is not in attendance, a member of the Steel staff will contact you for payment and shipping info ($15 will be added for shipped orders).
