Game Preview: Chippewa Steel vs Kenai River Brown Bears

(Chippewa Falls, WI)- Tonight the Chippewa Steel open their season at home against the Kenai River Brown Bears.

At the end of last season, the Steel finished ahead of Kenai River by two points in the Midwest division. In the last four matchups each team took two games, setting up for an exciting contest. Kenai River returns four of six of their top scorers, while the Steel only return three of ten of their point leaders. This game will set the pace for the following weekend where the Steel will play Kenai River Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The puck drops tonight at 7:10 pm at the Chippewa Area Ice Arena. The Home Opener features a Magnet Schedule Giveaway presented by Holly Bowe Coldwell Banker Brenizer, Realtors. Limited tickets are available here.
