(CHIPPEWA FALLS, WI)- The Steel host the Fairbanks Ice Dogs on Friday at Chippewa Area Ice Arena.  Chippewa enters Friday night’s contest on a two-game winning streak and has recorded points in four of the last five games. Chippewa earned a 3-0 victory on Wednesday night over the Austin Bruins. Grant Boldt recorded his first shutout of the season in net. Fairbanks enters Friday’s matchup just ahead of the Steel for the final playoff spot in the Midwest Division.

What to Watch For

Chippewa’s recent defensive surge will look to hold the Ice Dogs leading point producers of Bret Link and Austin Becker in check. Kayden Hargraves is expected to be between the pipes for Fairbanks. He owns a 9-8 record with a 2.77 GAA and .901 save percentage.
