Chippewa Falls, WI- The Chippewa Steel of the NAHL has announced the signing of defenseman Parker Gnos to a tender agreement.

Gnos played 19 games with Totino-Grace High School in Minnesota during the 20-21 season.  The 6’2 185-pound defenseman recorded 2 goals and 14 assists. He served as an Assistant Captain for his team this past season and added 39 points through 64 career High School games as a defenseman.

“Parker brings size and strength to our back end and has the ability to play in every situation for us,” stated Steel Assistant Coach Mike Fazio.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders – plus or minus any trades – which become active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft.
