Chippewa Falls, WI- The Chippewa Steel of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Ian Famulak has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for St. Norbert College.
The 6’2/185 lbs. native of Grand Rapids, MI played in 48 games for the Steel during the 20-21 season, recording 5 goals and 6 assists.
Famulak played in 154 games for Chippewa since the 2018-2019 season. In 3 seasons he has scored 12 total goals and dished out 17 assists.
“Ian has earned his opportunity to play hockey at St. Norbert’s. After 3 seasons in Chippewa Falls, Ian has definitely put in his time and work. He was a great leader for us this year and I expect him to have a lot of success at St. Norberts,” stated Steel Head Coach & General Manager Mike Janda.
