Chippewa Falls, WI- The Chippewa Steel of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Ryan Kerchoff has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Saint Mary’s University of the MIAC.
The 5’10/160 lbs. native of White Lake, MI played in 46 games for the Steel during the 20-21 season, recording 10 points.
Kerchoff played in 87 games for Chippewa since the 2019-2020 season. In two seasons he scored 9 total goals and dished out 20 assists.
“We are really excited for Ryan to continue his hockey career at St. Mary’s. Kerch is the ultimate teammate and a great locker room guy. His work ethic and coachability are second to none. He has paid his dues in junior hockey and earned the right to play college hockey,” stated Steel Head Coach & General Manager Mike Janda.
