SCHEELS & Steel Partner to Benefit Chippewa Youth Hockey Association
Chippewa Falls, WI- The Chippewa Steel and SCHEELS partnered for the third straight season in offering fans the chance to participate in the SCHEELS Chuck-A-Puck Promotion. Chippewa Youth Hockey Association members volunteered their time to sell foam pucks during Steel games that were tossed on the ice during the second intermission of each home game. The person with the puck closest to center ice won a gift card courtesy of SCHEELS.
“SCHEELS is proud to be a partner of Chippewa Steel Hockey. The SCHEELS Chuck-a-Puck Event at Steel home games for the 20-21 season helped generate more than $2,000 to benefit the Chippewa Youth Hockey Association. Thank you to the Chippewa Steel and Chippewa Youth Hockey Association for their continued support,” stated Elizabeth Fenske, Events & Social Media Coordinator with SCHEELS.
“We’re thankful to partner with a community-focused business that helps youth sports grow in our area. In just three seasons $6,896 in total has benefitted Chippewa Youth Hockey through this great partnership with SCHEELS,” said Jake Serwe, Business Manager of the Chippewa Steel hockey team.
