Steel Announce Roster

(Chippewa Falls, WI)- The Chippewa Steel have announced their roster for the 2018-2019 season. The roster includes nine Wisconsin natives in F Hutson Collins (Eau Claire), F Jacob Peterson (Oak Creek), F Austin Mikesch (Green Bay), F Connor Zilisch (Appleton), F Jacob Dirks (Mindoro) F Sam Dabrowski (Onalaska), F Michael Gobhardt (Mequon), F Grant Reichenbacher (Madison) and D Chase Davidson (Menomonie)

The roster also features players from nine other states including Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Tennessee, Texas and Colorado. Forward Filip Dusek, F Tomas Vochozka and F Grisha Gotovets are the three foreign-born players on the roster. To view the entire roster Click Here

“I’m excited about the players we have to begin our Inaugural Season. The players have put in a lot of work during the summer and in training camp to earn these roster spots. I’m looking forward to developing our identity throughout the season and creating a winning culture the Chippewa Valley community can be proud of,” Head Coach Al Rooney stated.

The Steel will open their Inaugural Season Friday, September 14th at Chippewa Area Ice Arena. Individual Adult Tickets are just $10 for adults, Ages 5-18 $6 and under 5 is free. The Chippewa Steel are members of the NAHL which is the oldest and largest junior hockey league of its kind in the United States and one of only two USA Hockey-certified leagues that operate under the non pay-to-play model.  The NAHL is also one of the best at advancing players to NCAA and professional hockey.
