Keep Your Eyes on Thiesing

All the way from Nashville, TN, Camden Thiesing has been one to watch this season. Thiesing made the ‘NHL Prospects to Watch list for 2019 draft-eligible players’. When asked about how it felt to get on this list Thiesing said, “When I first found out I felt chills go through my body because that’s every hockey players dream, to play in the NHL. It definitely gave me confidence and motivation in my game”.

Ever since his freshman year of high school, Thiesing has not lived at home during the season. He has lived and played in Wisconsin and Illinois. He played for Team Illinois and Chicago Mission last year. His main goal is to play D1 college hockey. If an opportunity came to play professionally he would, but for now just focusing on college.

Thiesing said that his favorite moment of the season so far was their recent trip to Alaska, “Hanging out with the boys was a great time,” Thiesing said. Looking at what the team can improve on, he said, “Our fight towards the end of the game. We just need to show that we want it more and get the outcomes that we want and get the wins we need”.

Camden thought the one thing fans need to know about him is that he’s a southern boy. He loves country music and just loves everything about the south. We asked him a few more questions to get to know him just a little bit better.
