Steel Wrap Up Weekend Series Against Bruins
Taking on the 1st place team in the Central Division, the Steel fell 0-2 on the weekend. Although they lost, the Steel fought hard against the talented Bruins.
In Friday night’s game, the Steel played a great game but, fell 5-4 to the top-ranked Bruins. Tomas Vochozka, the number 1 star of the game, got his first hat trick on the season and had an assist on Austin Mikesch’s powerplay goal. Josh Langford stopped 45 out of the 50 shots with outstanding saves. The Bruins had home ice advantage Saturday night and won 5-0.
The Steel will search for revenge when they take on the Bruins for another weekend series on November 23rd at Austin and the 24th at home.
