Steel Come Up Short to the Bruins
The Steel fell 3-1 to the Bruins. Although they weren’t able to top the Bruins, the Steel played a strong game.
The Steel took the 1st period lead with a goal from Phillip Dusek with an assist from Matt Clark to put the Steel up 1-0 to go into the 2nd period. The Bruins countered late in the 2nd period with a goal from Ian Mageau, assisted by Andy Willis and Dante Sheriff.
Sheriff put an unassisted goal in the net to start out the 3rd period. Josef Mysak got an empty net goal late in the 3rd period after the Steel pulled goalie Josh Langford. Mysak’s goal was assisted by Garrett Dahm.
In goal, tonight for the Steel was Josh Langford with 38 out of 40 saves. Bruin’s goalie Brett Miller had 31 out of 32 saves.
