Steel Get Set to Take on Ice Dogs

The Steel are preparing to take on the Fairbanks Ice Dogs in a weekend series at home.

The Fairbanks Ice Dogs hold the number three  position in the Midwest Division. Two weekends ago the Ice Dogs split the weekend series with the Springfield Jr Blues. The Ice Dogs currently have five Division 1 commits. Jonathan Sorenson leads the Ice Dogs with 30 points, 9 goals, and 21 assists. Jax Murray follows with 24 points, 11 goals, and 13 assists.

Last weekend the Chippewa Steel came up short to the 1st place Minnesota Magicians in a weekend series. Camden Thiesing currently leads Steel skaters with 17 points, 8 goals, and 9 assists.

The puck drops tonight at 7:10 p.m. at the Chippewa Area Ice Arena. Tonight is Pepsi Family Four Pack Night where fans can get 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 Pepsi products and 4 bags of chips for just $45. Fans can purchase tickets at the door or at chippewasteelhockey.com
