Chippewa Falls, WI – The Chippewa Steel of the NAHL have announced the signing of Alexander Servagno to a  tender contract for 2019-2020 season.  Servagno is a Forward for the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite U16 Team.

Servagno played in 37 games during the 2019-2019 season  scoring 15 goals while recording 18 assists. The Gibsonia, Pennsylvania  native stands at 5’8 and 160 pounds. Servagno is committed to Ohio State University.

“We’re excited about what Alex will bring to the Steel Organization. He plays a complete game up and down the ice, has great speed and offensive ability that will make him a fun player to watch,” stated Head Coach Carter Foguth.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders – plus or minus any trades – which become active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft.
