Steel to Hold National Anthem Auditions

CHIPPEWA FALLS, WI- The Chippewa Steel have announced the dates for auditions to perform the National Anthem during the 2020-2021 season. Auditions are open to local musicians, singers, and musical groups to perform the National Anthem prior to each Steel home game. There will be two chances to audition, with the first coming Wednesday, October 21st from 3:00‐5:00 p.m. If you are unable to make that time, another audition will be held on Thursday, October 22nd from 4:00‐6:00 p.m.

Anyone interested in applying to sing or play the National Anthem should send the following to Jake Serwe at jake@chippewasteelhockey.com:

1) Three dates you are available to perform the National Anthem at a Steel home game.

2) Your name, address, phone number, and email address.

3) Indicate whether you are applying as an individual or part of a musical group. If part of a group, please provide numbers in the group and their names as well.

4) Indicate which of the two audition dates you will be attending.

The Chippewa Steel will begin their home portion of the third season on Friday, November 6th at 7:10 against the Kenai River Brown Bears. The entire 2020-2021 Steel schedule is available here.
