Director of Game Day Operations – Ashley Anderson
Ashley Anderson is currently a student at the University of Wisconsin –
Stout. She is studying Professional Communications and is hoping to use
the skills that she has learned and developed in a future career within the
sports industry. She is from Chippewa Falls and grew up playing hockey at
the Chippewa Area Ice Arena.
Ashley loves the environment and the community the youth association
and Chippewa Steel have created. Ashley has been working for the
Chippewa Steel for the past two and a half seasons and can’t wait to see
what this season will bring!
Broadcaster – Scott Montesano
Scott returns to the Steel after serving as the team’s play-by-play announcer for their first four seasons in Chippewa. He brings with him more than 20 years of broadcasting and sports marketing experience across a variety of sports and locations. His background includes extensive time in the North American Hockey League as well as the United States Hockey League. He has worked in Fargo, ND, Mason City, IA and Des Moines, IA.
Additionally, has a very active minor league baseball resume with stops in Maine, Vermont, Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois.
Locally, he served as the first announcer for the Eau Claire Express, was the long-time voice of UW-Eau Claire Athletics and has called numerous high school contests. He currently owns and operates Eau Claire Hometown Media, a site the promotes local podcasts.
A Utica, NY native and Marist College alum, Scott resides in Eau Claire with his wife Angela and children Alexia and Derek.
