Weekend Preview | Minnesota Magicians

CHIPPEWA FALLS, WI- The Chippewa Steel prepare to face off with the Minnesota Magicians this upcoming weekend in a three-game series. The Steel will have the home ice advantage on Thursday and Saturday night with puck drop at 7:10pm. The team will head to Richfield, MN for their game on Friday night. All three games can be viewed via live broadcast on HockeyTV.

The Steel are surging forward with a full head of steam after a skate-off overtime victory against the Minnesota Wilderness. The Steel are boasting an impressive home record of 16-4, winning five of their last six games against the Magicians. Chippewa is also producing impressive special teams stats with an power play percentage of 27 percent.  Steel captain Isaac Moberg has helped to keep the Steel scoring efforts on track – tallying four goals and two assists in the last three games.

The Minnesota Magicians are also coming off a victory over the St. Cloud Blizzard. The Magicians are on a four-game winning streak and are looking to progress going into the later part of the season.  Despite their fifth place standing  in the division, the Magicians always bring a physical game against the Steel.
